New site frustration

Overall the new site seems to be working pretty well.  I still have two issues
to resolve that are nagging at me.

1. 
   Getting w.Blogger to put titles on my DasBlog posts. I may end having to move to another
   desktop tool for remote blogging. I like the idea of remote blogging given that I
   am now longer hosting my website at my home.
   
   


2. 
   I still have a problem with nGallery. There is a path in one of the XML files that
   is broken. I am unable to post any pictures or create new photo albums until this
   is resolved.

This is kind of like going to work except that I am not getting paid for it. :-)

Ok... my first post looks pretty good except
there is not title on the post. I am having a hard time find any documentation that
explains why. Let's try this.

nGallery is broken

It appears that nGallery is broken. I am unable to create a new album. It appears
that there is a broken path in XML config file. Hopefully I can fix this latter today
or tonight. Once I now the proper path it should only take me a couple of minutes
to resolve.

No Comments on Blog

I have decided to turn of the comments on my blog. This may kill part of the culture
but it is a sign of the times. I guess that this does not really break my heart.

Site Migration

I spent an hour tonight creating a dummy website to test installing DasBlog and nGalley
in a new website. I was able to document the proper configuration settings to make
everything co-exist nicely. I finally got around to moving my site off of my Qwest
DSL connection over to my friend's hosting service.



I now have a new website with nGallery and DasBlog up an running.  It is going
to take me a while to get everything migrated to the new server. I am looking forward
to starting to blog again and posting more pictures on the website.
